Junior / Intermediate Web Programmer

Responsible for  building web projects for Mediaforce clients. You will be focused on executing site builds and maintenance to the highest creative and usability standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate concepts effectively against objectives and execute page builds on schedule
Use XHTML and CSS coding to modern W3C Web Standards
Keep current with changing specs and technologies within the World Wide Web and content portals in particular.
Continuously reformulate approach to site design and production
Work collaboratively with the production, design and development teams in a fast paced environment
Contribute to the overall creative development of the web properties

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Work Experience: Web Programmers will have held positions with similar responsibilities and will have the minimum indicated years of experience in the following areas:

2+ yrs professional HTML development, including XHTML, CSS,
JavaScript, etc.

2+ yrs of basic experience working in and around Php , Ajax, JSP, or other
Backend scripting languages.
Strong communication skills with experience creating programs for the web.

IMPORTANT: Priority FOR INTERVIEW will be given to Candidates able to show portfolio or screen grabs that DEMONSTRATES the above skills.

This is a fulltime position located in Ottawa, Canada.
Salary commensurate with experience.
